Altiscad Intellishape este un software specializat în calcul secțiunilor la încovoiere oblică (compresiune cu moment încovoietor pe două direcţii). Secțiunile se pot importa prin intermediul unor fișiere XML sau DXF.

Programul permite evaluarea capacităţii portante precum şi verificarea elementelor din beton, beton armat dar şi a elementelor mixte alcătuite din orice material definit de către utilizator.
Softwareul permite calculul oricăror tipuri de secţiuni cu geometrie oarecare. Intellishape este un program de sine stătător dar poate conlucra cu Robot Structural (RSA) precum şi cu Revit Structure permiţând importul de forţe, materiale dar şi geometria elementului (stâlp sau perete structural) pe care intenţionăm să îl analizăm.

Intellishape furnizează următoarele tipuri de rezultate:

  • Curbe de interacţiune N/M, Mx/My;
  • Diagrama sigma-epsilon pentru materialele existente în model;
  • Diagramele de tensiuni sigma, deformaţii unitare (epsilon), poziţia axei neutre pentru orice solicitări introduse de către utilizator;
  • Calculează poziţia axei neutre şi efectuează verificarea poziţiei acesteia vs limitele definite conform normelor în vigoare;
  • Calculează caracteristicile secţiunii elementului (momente de inerţie, arii, raze de giraţie etc.). Aceste caracteristici sunt calculate pe întreaga secţiune dar şi diferenţiat pe zona de secţiune comprimată , respectiv întinsă, pentru orice poziţie a axei neutre.
